If install on an Oracle VirtualBox machine in Dutch (Nederlands), the check box (quit) (back) (continue) cannot be seen (out of visible screen)

Asked by Jean-Do Veuve

Hi,

If you try to install Ubuntu on an Oracle VirtualBox machine in Dutch (Nederlands), the check boxes (quit) (back) (continue) cannot be seen (out of visible screen).

They are on a usable/seen place in French and English. I didn't check other languages so far.

I checked the same problem on 18.04.5, 20.04 and in current groovy-desktopamd64 as of Oct 8, 2020

I run
Oracle VirtualBox Version 6.1.12 r139181 (Qt5.9.5) of
Ubuntu 18.04 with daily updates
8 Gb Ram
The VM is "vanilla" but for the RAM where I use 3 or 4 Gb Ram in place of the 1 Gb as standard proposed. I also changed the size of the virtual disk to 20 Gb.

Is this a bug or a feature ?

If you hold ALT then you can drag from any point in a window.

Is the guest OS Ubuntu and the host Windows?

Host : Ubuntu 18.04 with daily updates and 8 Gb Ram
Ran : Oracle VirtualBox Version 6.1.12 r139181 (Qt5.9.5)
The VM is "vanilla" but for the RAM where I use 3 or 4 Gb Ram in place of the 1 Gb as standard proposed. I also changed the size of the virtual disk to 20 Gb.

I tested 3 different versions of Ubuntu and the bug remain the same but only in Dutch (Nederlands) on the 3 different languages I tested (3 languages*3 versions=9 tests).
