Not enough space to install ubuntu
I just finished up fixing an old pc (the graphics card failed). While I was messing around in it I also unplugged the hardrive. Anyways, I went to start the computer with its brand new graphics card and it prompted me to boot it. I couldn't find the windows disk (I'm not sure if the pc came with one), so I decided to install linux. After using my laptop to turn a flash drive into a bootable flash drive and intalling linux on it I plugged it in and booted the computer with it. It worked and it started to walk me through the installation. When it got to the part where it says for best results please ensure that this computer: and itdoesn't have the 6.4 gb necessary to install linux. I don't know what to do. It says I don't have permission when I try to delete files with the trial version running off the flash drive. I can't figure out a way to delete the contents of the hard drive and I don't want to go out and buy a new one while I have a perfectly good one sitting inside my computer.
Any helps would be greatly appreciated, I've been trying to get this computer to work for over a month now (I'm not a tech wizz).
