1. Download ISO
32Bit:
http://releases.ubuntu.com/precise/ubuntu-12.04.3-desktop-i386.iso
MD5: c4f4c7a0d03945b78e23d3aa4ce127dc

64Bit:
http://releases.ubuntu.com/precise/ubuntu-12.04.3-desktop-amd64.iso
MD5:

2. MD5 test ISO
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HowToMD5SUM
MD5: e2da0d5ac2ab8bedaa246869e30deb71

Burn to CD as slowly as possible, or use unetbootin:
http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/unetbootin-windows-latest.exe

Boot to the media and select to remove all data and install Ubuntu.

Make sure to first perform a backup of all your data (to external storage) before contemplating the switch to a different operating system.

Depending on the amount of RAM (internal memory) in your PC, you might need to use a lighter version of Ubuntu like Lubuntu.

You can learn more about Ubuntu using these guides:

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ExternalGuides

Can you help with this problem?
