install wizard does not appear

system in running in low graphic mode, your screen, graphics card and input device setings could not be detected correctly, you need to configure these yourself, how?" when i start the disk for ubuntu 12.10 after the install sreen all goes black and nothing else happen except for this error after about 10 minutes, the install wizard never appears, the disk check was ok...i think all is on the download disk, just won't download any ideas

this is only my suggestion .

Try to install and stick with it . Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

http://releases.ubuntu.com/12.04/

Yes, it's a Dell Inspiron 3800 windows 2000

With 512MB RAM and Pentium III 700MHz processor. I recommend you run Lubuntu. It will give a more responsive OS
