trying to install a node via PXE MAAS installation install fails with network error non-free firmware not found tigon/tg3_tso.bin dell poweredge 1750

during a MAAS install
Install fails due to missing firmware file for the network card on Dell Poweredge 1750. Says load the file from usb or floppy drive.
missing file is tigon/tg3_tso.bin. Can't continue MAAS install.

any suggestions on updating the MAAS with the missing firmware

Did you download the tg3_tso.bin file?

attempted to download, and extract, Placed on USB as recommended but the hardware fail screen just kept looping. I eventually said no and it seemed to continue on with the install. Currently it is booted and and says node is ready.
