i just installed Ubuntu on my Dell Dimension 8200 60gb drive pc

I need to enter a username and password for the "Guest" and the "primary user" input fields. Or do I have to register for a so called "free" os? E-mail me at <email address hidden>.
How can I by-pass this?

I GOT TO THE WELCOME SCREEN AND SAW THIS MESSAGE "USERNAME" AND "PASSWORD"

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANK YOU.

user name is what you put in when installing IE your name. and the password is the same as you made when installing as well. this was all on the same page where you put your info.

PS best never to put you email viable. good away to get spammed etc.

You setup an account at install time, use that
