Correct syntax for 82865G Integrated Graphics Device in xorg.conf
Hi,
For the first time I have had to alter my xorg.conf file when the Gutsy beta did not pick up the settings correctly. I have filed a bug report and attempted to add the settings manually for the 82865G Integrated Graphics Device that my computer runs.
I post the file below, you can see where I have commented out the innapropriate video device settings (Generic Video Card):
# xorg.conf (xorg X Window System server configuration file)
#
# This file was generated by dexconf, the Debian X Configuration tool, using
# values from the debconf database.
#
# Edit this file with caution, and see the xorg.conf manual page.
# (Type "man xorg.conf" at the shell prompt.)
#
# This file is automatically updated on xserver-xorg package upgrades *only*
# if it has not been modified since the last upgrade of the xserver-xorg
# package.
#
# If you have edited this file but would like it to be automatically updated
# again, run the following command:
# sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg

Seems to be working ok but can I ask:
1. Are these the most optimal settings for this controller?
2. What is the crazy wacom device being called for!!?
Thanks very much for your trouble,
Andrew
