Scrolling text starts bunched on the right hand side

Which versions of the client and server please?

Sounds like there might be some odd formatting that has been applied to the
template (set when adding/editing the ticker).

Could you try clearing everything from the template and just putting in the
simple [Title] to begin with.

Sometimes the editor adds extra div's and span's (that you can't see) which
can cause this behaviour.

Dan, it was just a simple piece of text, with no divs or spans, just text, but I will remove all of my text and just remove it with [Title]

Dan thought you were talking about an RSS ticker.

If you delete your text item and create a new one please. Don't select any formatting and make sure you type in to the box - don't copy and paste.

with just the word [Title] it works fine, but when you add other text to it, e.g [Title] here is some scrolling text, the looping occurs.

On the client in the library directory, you'll find some files with .xlf extensions. Can you send over the one for your layout that's causing the problem via email to <email address hidden>

Alex, still does the same thing, created a new text box, simply typed the sentance, test text to see if scrolling works. and it wraps the text on the right hand side until its about 1/4 of the way in on the right, i could grab some screenshots if theres any way for me to add them?

Alex, silly question, but how do I know which .xlf is for which layout? they are just numbered.xlf ?

You can either look inside them (they're just XML) and find the text you entered or, if it's the newest layout you've created it'll be the one that's highest-numbered.

ps: this was the same in server 1.0.5 and has not got any better or worse in 1.0.6
