what a difference when I delete media on region ??

what a difference when I delete media on region ??

I have a content on region like this

1->a->b->c->d->e->f->2->a->b->c->d->e->f->3->a->b->c->d->e->f

when I want to delete content "a" I have to delete 3 times
but at the menu when i click delete it 's show

Unassign from this region only ?
Unassign from this region and retire ?
Retire this media ?

I try to use all but it's still delete only 1 "a" content.

What 's a difference ? Do I wrong or missing step ?

That's correct. You will have to delete it three times to remove it completely.

Unassign from this region only?
Remove that instance of the media from the timeline.

Unassign from this region and retire?
Remove that instance of the media from the timeline and mark it as retired in the library (not able to add it to new regions)

Retire this media?
Mark the media retired in the library (not able to add it to new regions).

The way we'd expect you to handle this kind of output would be to have layout 1 with a-b-c-d-e-f on it and layout 2,3 and 4 with 2,3,4 on them respectively and then schedule them all at the same time, which would give you the same output and give you only one place to add/remove "a".
