Only background displaying linux client

Hi I have an issue where the regions disappear, When I restart everything works as normal for most of the day but at some point all the regions vanish and I am just left with my custom back ground.
. Running 1.4.2

Can you check what is shown on the console when that happens please?

Sorry I am not sure where you mean by the console.

Hi Bob

Stop the client running, open a new terminal (command prompt) and launch
the client as normal. Wait the for the problem to occur, then close the
client (press i then q) and then see what messages are on the terminal
(console).

I suspect it'll tell you it's encountering a known bug and attempting to
work around but is being unsuccessful.
