New install - Server Dashboard Problem

I am a first time user and just installed the server software on Windows 7 with IE 9. The install went fine, but if i click the "layout" then "add layout" buttons it does not allow me to do anything, it just goes back to the main dashboard page. This also happens if I try to add media. Any thoughts?

Try to clear your IE cache
Do you have a popupblocker active?
Try another browser like Firefox that supports w3c standards.

I have also IE9 and it works with every installation,

Internet Explorer 9 doesn't work with any currently released Xibo server interface. It's fine on client machines, but not on machines you want to develop layouts on etc. Use Chrome or Firefox on those machines instead.

...ups, we changed our Browser from IE 8 to IE9 and back.
So we work with IE8, not 9 SORRY for the wrong info.
When I do something on Xibo, I use Firefox.

Thanks all.. I used google chrome and it fixed it. Sorry it was such a basic question. If only designing a layout was as simple as switching browsers I would be a happy camper!
