Text stroke

When adding a text block it renders with a dark stroke, it's not visible against a black background obviously but when adding text to an image or light background all text get outlined with a dark stroke. Why is that?

There isn't a 1.3.2 client for Ubuntu?

I'm guessing you're running 1.2.2 client or 1.3.1 client on Ubuntu using Awesomium or Berkelium rendering library. Knowing which would be helpful but it's not really essential.

The dark line round the text is an artefact of the way the text is composited. I've noticed it before but it's never troubled me so I've not dived in to looking at it.

By all means file a bug for it and eventually I'll get to it.

It seems as if we are using 1.3.0, can that be accurate? And is that helpful?

Yeah it could be.

I think that's the last of the clients that uses Awesomium so is basically the same as 1.2.2.

Is there an outline in Berkelium also or just in Awesomium?

Yes it's there in both Berkelium and Awesomium
