default layout only display for the 1st time

For a new display, I just assign a default layout and tick "interleave", hope this layout will be displayed "forever", but after it get displayed in the client side for the 1st time successfullyt, the client always showing the splash screen. Here are the trace for the client side, both side are latest 1.2.2. what could be wrong?

It shouldn't make any difference, but try unticking interleave and
restarting the client.

yes, it indeed make no difference, noted in another thread, you mention not use scroll in the text, I also avoided that....
