We don't recommend any particular brand.

If you're looking to do hd video playback then get something with a nvidia graphics card so you can use cuda or vdpau to offload video decoding.

Something like the Acer Aspire Revo makes a good player but it really depends so heavily on what you use the system for so you need to get one and try it for yourself.

Foxconn NetBox-nT330i is also a good choice if you need something small with nvidia acceleration, and more customizable (and with a little more powerful cpu) than acer revo.

For info, the Revo is available now with the 330 processor:

At £153 UK it's cheap enough too!

Hi Maya

You need a PC - not a media player. Exactly which one depends entirely
on what you're going to do with it, but I personally use Acer Aspire
Revo PCs because they're small and inexpensive.

by the way that media player take the content and display it on the screens and it also could be linked to 2 pcs sharing the content folder with the linked pc

Maya. Xibo DOES NOT SUPPORT using any Media Player device. It only supports PCs. This thread has suggestions for two different models that work well.

Maya,

I advise you searching the Next Unit of Computing (NUC) by Intel. It may be your answer.
