Hi Snosrap, thanks for your question and I'm sorry to hear you are having a problem! wxBanker is developed primarily for Ubuntu and as such should work fine there. How did you install wxBanker and what version of Ubuntu are you using?

Once you add an account, you should just have to navigate to the bottom of the application, enter a description and amount, and hit enter or press the button. Are you encountering a specific error?

Also, please do let me know any suggestions you have, especially related to usability and any troubles you may have had figuring things out.

I missed the bottom of the page area. Just did that and it took the input
but only after I expanded the 'amount' area. (i typed 50000 the first time)
after expanding it did take 50,000.00. How do I add another transaction to
the open account?

This is a usability problem I'd like to address. Do you have any ideas on how I could make this more obvious? Should the controls to enter a transaction be at the top? Or, did you notice the blinking + button prompting you to add an account? Once you add an account, maybe the + button where you enter a transaction should blink. Do you think that would make it clearer?

Yes it would at least for the first time. Could you then have a way to shut
the blink off? I kept trying to right click on the account assuming that
would open it to add an item. (influence of Windows procedure) Now that I
know it is easy to do. Perhaps a short 'tell and show' page with "what to
do to get started" would be helpful. Bill
