accessing Linux files from within Windows
Asked by
Angelo Borsotti
After having installed Ubuntu with wubi, the Unix filesysem is placed into a Windows file.
Can I access Ubuntu files from within Windows?
Note that a CD installation of Ubuntu creates a disk ext3 partition, that can be accessed
from within Window (having installed an ext3 driver) as a Windows disk, reading and
writing files.
One of the main concerns when using a dual boot installation is how to access the same
files from within both systems. Not having this means to be forced to reboot the machine
in order to access files.
