Wubi

Wubi will not uninstall Ubuntu from XP

Installed gOS 3 (Ubuntu 8.04) using Wubi in XP. It keeps freezing and I cannot delete Ubuntu using Add/Remove software. Ubuntu is listed but nothing happens when I click on remove.

You might have to ask the gOS devs. If the revision of Wubi is 506 uninstalling should be ok. Otherwise you can try the uninstaller available here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/WubiGuide#Cannot%20uninstall%20Ubuntu

The uninstall program (Uninstall-Ubuntu.exe) worked perfectly! Thanks for the prompt and great response. Microsoft should take lessons from you. I have now downloaded Wubi 506 and will use it to install gOS 3 again. Cheers,
