Bug- Allows Invalid Username

The installer allows a capital user name to be entered, there forth throwing an error in the actual Ubuntu installer requiring the user to reenter the username.

Although I have defined a username in Wubi with lower case e.g. maxmustermann the Ubuntu installer says: "Invalid username. The username you entered is invalid. Note that usernames must start withz a lower-case letter, which can be followed by any combination of numbers and more lower case letters.". After that the Installer stops. All possibilities Tab, Blanc, Enter, Next does not help. What can I do?

I use the current release (7.04.01) on Windows Xp Home and NTFS. Does 4 Gb fit for Ubuntu? Wubi suggested 16 Gb.

With Wubi-7.04.02.exe the problem with the Invalid Username has been fixed, but now Ubuntu starts, but in the first third of the progress indicator the Laptop reboots with no error message. What can I do? Ubuntu has worked on this PC with a earlier Wubu release. This seems to be a new problem.

Without the WLAN card Ubuntu loads, but username/password defined with Wubi is not valid in Ubuntu. Strange...
