Ubuntu (Wubi installed) won't start on boot-up

Asked by Bryce Carter

I downloaded the windows installer and installed Ubuntu onto my SSD. I rebooted my PC and tried starting up Ubuntu, but it said a file (ubuntu\winboot\wubildr.mdr) was corrupted or something. Is there any way to fix this, or do I have to uninstall and reinstall? I really don't want to reinstall because my internet is very slow and will take at least 3 hours to download all of it. But, if I have to, I am willing to.

Thanks

Wubi doesn't work on computers with UEFI (using GPT disks). Is that what you have?

Can you help with this problem?
