Can I put windows as the secondary start up

Is there a way to make Ubunt my primary OS system so when I boot up it comes up first and not windows ( RE: run windows as the secondary os??????

Also: How did you install Ubuntu. A standard installation of Ubuntu will typically automatically put itself first? Did you install Ubuntu alongside Windows by booting from the CD/DVD or USB flash drive, or did you install it inside Windows by running the Wubi installed while running Windows?

I do'nt remeber how I installed the program. Can I just empty the hard drive and reload it

Can you give the output of the command I gave and I can advise. There is no need to reinstall at all.

I installed ubuntu using Wubi inside windows because my disk will not boot up by it self
How do I get to a command proment to run ( run)

Right click on My computer, Properties, Advanced, Startup & reovery settings, change the default OS in the drop down to be Ubuntu. Do not set the timeout lower than 15 (setting to 1 or 0 will stop windows from booting).

Note: if you're using Ubuntu as your primary OS you may want to consider a full Ubuntu install at some point in the future. This is more stable for long term use than Wubi

PS. to get to a terminal: CTRL+ALT+t
