Why is python-imaging not a dependency?

Is the output you get without installing the package python-imaging on Xubuntu Gutsy Gibbon
it should be an included dependency

I confirm the "bug" mentionned above with ubuntu Hardy and workaholic 0.1.0; you nevertheless should activate the bug tracker here within. Regards - R
