after inactivity wicd will not reconnect automatically and does not find wifi network
I've been using Wicd for 14 years without any issues. Some machines have Lubuntu installed. My present laptop is a Dell XPS13-9350. Recently upgraded from Debian 9 Stretch to Debian 10 Buster. No problem with the former but with Buster my Wi-Fi connection is lost after some time of inactivity. There is no specific interval nor a pattern I can detect. The only way to reestablish the connection is rebooting the system.
Have just followed the instructions to reinstall Wicd from the CLI. Even tried each command separately to no avail. Still rebooting is the only way to go.
Am I missing something? Perhaps a setting?
Will appreciate any help to resolve this annoying issue. Wicd is the best!
Thanks
Hector
