Can't see access points *sometimes*
wicd works great for me in all cases but one. When I am in my office (no-where else does this happen) it'll fail to detect ANY access points. All my other devices see the 20 or so access points around me. If I refresh repeatedly eventually it will see them ALL. Repeatedly sometimes means 10 times, sometimes 100.
This doesn't even happen on another floor of my building, just in the 50 feet or so around my desk. I never ever have this problem anywhere else. Wifi works fine in windows on my same machine.
The only thing I can think of is some kind of radio interference, and iwconfig doesn't look LONG enough. Windows and other devices I have could look longer. Does that make any sense? If so, how would I extend the search time? If not, where else should I be looking?
I'm using Arch Linux on a Dell E6400 with wicd 1.7.1.
I just noticed, when I went to see what version I had, that it says No Wireless Networks Found, even though I'm currently connected to one.
