Connection History

Is there a way to look at past wifi connections and passwords? I'm not in range of an old wifi network, but I need the password.

Hello,

there's currently no "canonical" way to view not-in-range networks. What you can do is, though, look into /etc/wicd/wireless-settings.conf, and look for your ESSID there. In future the location where to look might change, since there are plans to switch to per-network single files, instead of the current big single wireless-settings.conf.
