No contacts

I've installed whosthere in Ubuntu Quantal and registered (though I already had an account).
It says I'm connected but:
1) I don't have any contacts (how do I add contacts if I don't have any contacts app?).
2) If I write a msg from the Whatsapp of a friend, I do not receive it.

1) The whatsapp server does not save the list of contacts, so we cannot retreive them from there.
Currently, there is no way to manually add contacts. Currently, the only way is to sync your evolution addressbook, to get the contatcts from there. If you add your gmail account to ubuntu's "Online Accounts", you gmail contacts will sync with the evolution addressbook and then you can sync with whosthere.
The next version will provide means to manually add contacts.

2) That is certainly a bug. Please report it at
