some mono-dark icons in the forecast

Asked by Jan Schürmann

some icons in the forecast - i.e. rainy weather - are mono-dark icons, which aren't good to see on the light background.
while sunny weather icons are normally colored icons
how could i "reinstall" the icons?
complete removal and installing again doesn't solve the problem...

Weather Indicator uses default icon theme - and this might be a bug in the theme, not Weather Indicator. Could you please try to check this forecast using other icon sets, so we could identify the problem in the set?

ok, that's right...it's the Faenza-Darkest Icons Theme that has those "wrong" icons in forecast.
unfortunately i can't find the icons for weather-indicator in the icons folders...not in /home and not in /usr/share/

did someone know what to do to fix this issue?

Weather Indicator doesn't supply its own icons - instead it uses icons from current theme. As Faenza doesn't supply "weather-*" icons, so Weather Indicator automatically uses icons from fallback theme - mono-icon theme.

So, this is a bug (or a feature request) for Faenza developers - they should supply icons for weather conditions also.

Can you help with this problem?
