trying to compile it on Fedora

Asked by Blaž Mežnaršič

Hi!

Im trying to compile Vocal on Fedora. I managed to satisfy pretty much every dependency, but unity. This is what I get as output after running your script: http://pastebin.com/Gru3XrJj My question is, which lib are you referencing? The whole unity? libunity? Something else? Could you link me to the source code of that dependency, please? Your help would be really appreciated!

Thank you!

Hey! The dependency is for libunity. You should be able to find the source code for it here: https://code.launchpad.net/libunity

That said, I'm working on making libunity and libnotify optional, so hopefully that will make it easier for people to use Vocal on non-Ubuntu based systems in the future. I'll let you know when I get that working.

Cheers,
-Nathan
