Same problem here, looks like something is wrong with the compiz config?

I'm not an IT expert, but if you open Compixconfig and go to the Ubuntu Unity Plugin you should be able to reset it to yhe original settings,-Anyway that is how I fixed mine,after I had a similar readout to yours, - By the way THANKS heaps for your posting, as I woukdn't have gotten anywhere without it

I have fixed the problem on my machine. Somehow the restricted ATI driver had become corrupted; I simply uninstalled, restarted and reinstalled and everything was fine.
