Unity Mail

Outlook.com - Unity mail

I tried to setup Unity mail in order to receive notifications for incoming emails from Outlook.com.
The settings that I am using are:

Host: imap-mail.outlook.com
Port: 993

The problem is that Unity Mail doesn't seem to work with these settings.

Am I doing something wrong or Unity Mail is only for Gmail?

Please paste an error message that is printed when you run "unity-mail" from terminal.

This is what a get:

Unity-Mail: INFO: Connection #0 established
Unity-Mail: ERROR: Exception occured: b'[AUTHENTICATIONFAILED] Invalid username or password.'
Unity-Mail: CRITICAL: Invalid account data provided for connection #1; exiting

But the problem is that my username and my password are the right one.

Then either your username or password is wrong :)

Try using your full e-mail address as your username, not just the part before @ symbol.

I forgot that I have enabled 2-step verification system.I had to use as a password the "App password" in order to make it work.
