Launcher icon size

First of I want to say that Unity-2D is great. Even without 3D acceleration it gives scale like functionality, looks great and works fast. That said there is one thing missing for me - ability to change the size of launcher. I would like to make it smaller.
Unity-2D is for computers with no 3D acceleration and a computer like that may have a screen with lower resolution, and because of that, the launcher would take too much of it. Resolution of my screen is 1280x1024 and I already want to change the size of the icons, so I think maybe some one with 1024x768 would want it even more.
So is there any way to change the size of entire launcher not just icons? And if not will there be?

I don't know if this is planned already, but since the other version of Unity allows for this possibility already I suppose it will be implemented sooner or later.
What I know is that other users have mentioned that they would like this too.
I suggest you search in the bug tracker for Unity-2d and if you don't find any bug that requests this feature to be added please add one and link to this question. That way the feature request can be tracked properly and schedule for some future milestone.
And remember, patches are always welcome too :)
