Config tool for unity 2d

I just installed ubuntu 11.04 on my system.I personally prefer unity 2d over unity 3d because it is much faster.unity 2d is a good work.But there is only one problem? There is no config tool for unity 2d.I will like to ask when this config tool for unity 2d be released.And a thank you to the unity 2d team for developing such a good and efficient workspace.
