what about copy and paste from and to dash in 11.10?

really its a problem for me and problem for any one work in ubuntu11.04, why dash don't support copy and paste and will it be support in Ubuntu 11.10? thanks

yes.I agree with ahmed.The feature stated by ahmed can make unity 2d more usable.

AFAIK this is not planned. However drag’n’drop from the dash to the launcher and to the desktop (and other file browser windows) is implemented in Unity, and should land soon in unity-2d (see bug #662616 and bug #756614).

but what about copy and paste in run command? when i need to run command" alt+f2 ............... i cant make a copy for command !!!!!! this more important for dash to copy a command and put it ......... i think it must be found in 11.10

Right, this is a different feature indeed, and it should certainly be implemented. I will turn this question into a bug report to track its implementation.
