Third party software

Asked by manishmahabir

While customising, i added some PPAs in the third party repo.
they are present in the customised iso, but when i install from the iso, the third party softwares are lost.

how can i make them stay even while installing from the customised iso?

Im not sure if I understand your problem exactly.Seems like you may be asking about the UCK not keeping your repository source entries. As far as I have been able to see, UCK is set to only keep the default selected sources. If this is the problem you are having perhaps a script of some type could be included to add them after install. Just an idea. Not sure if thats even possible as I have only just learned about scripting myself.

i'm sorry but it's not a uck issue because it's ubiquity (the ubuntu installer) how manages these things
