grub menu frozen
Running Ubuntu Studio 13.04, raring, 64 bit; this morning I booted just fine as usual.
A popup message stated updates were available, so I clicked update; all went apparently well.
I shut down the computer, again fine as usual.
I returned home and restarted the computer; it locks at the grub menu (with the 10 seconds countdown message not counting down); restart is only possible by hard (power button) restart,
and/or power down then power up. All this is on my SATA I hard drive.
I rebooted and changed my boot priority in BIOS to my 2nd hard drive, SATA II, where Ubuntu 12.04 is located (this is where I am now, writing this message). The grub menu in this instance is working obviously well.
What can I do to get my Ubuntu 13.04 to boot up again?
