If you cancel your Ubuntu One subscription, the following will happen to your account, your files, and your shared files.

What happens to your Ubuntu One account?
Free subscription plans are canceled immediately. Paid subscriptions remain active until the end of the current billing period. Refer to your credit card billing statement or Payment History inside My Account for more information.

What happens to your files?
While we will promptly delete your files from the Ubuntu One online storage space, canceling your account will not affect files stored in your computer. Since you are canceling, your files will no longer synchronize with the online storage space and your other computers.

What about shared files?
Files that have been shared with you and are already on your computer will not be affected. All files that you have shared with others will no longer be available to them after the next time they synchronize.

I had a problem with... What about a KDE version? A lot of useless dependencies and forced to use gnomekeyring!? I know it's a beta, and I'm grateful for the invitation, but it's always the same. Installed and unnistalled, thanks for nothing. Maybe one day you'll respect, at least, Kubuntu users. Until then, Dropbox!

This is hardly beta, it just doens't work. Takes over my processor, doens't synchronize properly and what it does takes at least more then hours. Very bad for the image of Ubuntu in my mind.

The project is in very beta stage. "Service is temporary unavailable" - that is not a sign of ready-to-go stuff. Lot of inconveniences including file-by-file upload and so on. Good idea - week release.
