restore notes from One to tomboy

Asked by Jacqueline Levin

Is there a way to put the notes stored on Ubuntu One into tomboy? As of now, it seems that synching notes will make Ubuntu One look the way Tomboy looks (i.e. delete any notes on Ubuntu One that are not present in tomboy).
If someone's hard drive crashes, how can s/he go about taking the Ubuntu One notes and putting them into tomboy?
If this isn't a feature, I would like to know whether it's a possibility for the future.

Yeah, just start with a fresh Tomboy (you can delete all notes while Tomboy isn't running by deleting all the .note files in ~/.local/share/tomboy). Then set up sync in the preferences (if sync was already set up, clear the settings and set it up from scratch). When you do your first sync, it will pull all notes from U1.

Can you help with this problem?
