Not Autostarting on Ubuntu 10.04 (and 9.10) 32 bit

Asked by Svetlana Belkin

This might be similar to #551813.

I have Ubuntu 10.04 and when I start up the system, Ubuntu One is not starting up. I have checked if it is, and it is. And I think it's linked to my other problem (not syncing the notes). My problem started on Ubuntu 9.10 about five days after I fresh installed Ubuntu 9.10 and it still persists on Ubuntu 10.04 (I juts upgraded to it, not a fresh install).

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One is not working properly for you. In order for us to help determine what the problem is and get you up and running, we'll need you to do the following:

1. File a bug report at: https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntuone-client/+filebug
2. From a terminal session (Applications->Accessories->Terminal) run (replace ###### with the bug report number created above): apport-collect -p ubuntuone-client ######

Once you do that, you can try to do the following to see if it gets things running:

1. Delete ~/.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf
2. From a terminal session run:
killall ubuntuone-syncdaemon ubuntuone-login
u1sdtool -c
u1sdtool -s

3. Does the last command show that you are connected?

Thank you,

Joshua
