AndroidU1 has been superseded by Ubuntu One Files project. I'll e-mail androidu1-users list shortly. We've got some goodies on the way.

Isn't here a way to compile it right now?
All the com.ubuntuone.rest are missing for example... Ant won't work, so it's impossible to contribute to this.

Marco, I haven't seen your question as you've asked in a thread that has already been answered.
If you are still interested, building is as easy as:
$ ant setup
$ ant
And you're done.
