Ubuntu 9.04: zip 2.32, "state of art" is 3.0

Hi!

I just had the problem that zip 2.32 can't handle files larger than 2 gigabytes. The recent version 3.0 doesen't have this problem and was released in 2008.

Do you know, when the newest version will be released from Canonical?

zip v3.0 is available for Ubuntu 9.10 alpha (Karmic) here:
