suggestions on mp3 players for ubuntu

I want to buy a new mp3 player
But it seems most mp3 players are only compatible with windows or mac
any mp3 players that are compatible with ubuntu?

scan disk mp3 player shouls work with amarok and rhythmbox
iriver mp3 and ceative mp3 players are working fine with Ubuntu.
Out of experience on several forums i know this, and I own a creative zen mp3, this player
works fine with gnomad(2) on ubuntu 8.0.4, but it is an old 20gb model.

error: not scan disk: sandisk....
