swf files has no audio

Asked by HES

I have saved files ending in .swf that load, and play without the audio. These Shockwave Flash files play well on another computer with Kubuntu 9.04, but not on the computer with 9.10. The audio works fine with .mpg and .wmv files.

It may work by installing certain gstreamer packages.
gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad
gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly

Actually, VLC plays everything one can think of.

In Ubuntu Lucid OpenOffice 3.2.0, I created a test presentation with a picture which had interaction defined as play a sound file. This works OK on the odp file but standalone Adobe Flash Player on the swf (created by export) does not play the sound file but instead regards the interaction as that for another picture on the same slide. Has anyone else tried Lucid on swf files with sound?

Can you help with this problem?
