May i legally provide a free copy of ubuntu with my linux guide product...?

Asked by eclipsegaze

Hello. Not Sure if this is the best place for this question. I'm curious about whether I may legally provide a free copy of ubuntu with my linux guide product. Is there something I need to take into account? I'm not making any money from selling the cd and I make it clear that the cost is from the actual product rather than the ubuntu cd. Can someone shine some light on this particularly technical question for me?

The Ubuntu promise

    * Ubuntu will always be free of charge, along with its regular enterprise releases and security updates
    * Ubuntu comes with full commercial support from Canonical and hundreds of companies from across the world
    * Ubuntu provides the best translations and accessibility features that the free software community has to offer
    * Ubuntu core applications are all free and open source. We want you to use free and open source software, improve it and pass it on.

Hope this answered your question.
