Wine Software Installation in Ubuntu 7.10

I need to install a version of Wine which runs under Ubuntu 7.1 to enable me to run Microsoft programs such as The Times Bridge which is on a CD Rom. Can you please advise me as to how best to proceed with this deficiency in the Ubuntu Linux System.

AFAIK the desktop version of ubuntu 7.10 isn't longer supported, you should upgrade to ubuntu LTS 8.04.3, or install the newest version of ubuntu 9.10.
