was installing 9.10 when computer crashed

my computer crashed mid install of 9.10 . now my hard drive is divided into two sections , windows xp and 9.10 (which has half a dozen broken files). i went to install 9.10 again but when i went to re format my hard drive again it split it into three sections, windows xp , 9.10 and the 9.10 that i would be re installing. how can i start fresh with my hard drive all on windows again so i can split the whole thing again in two and hope it just finishes the install. my computer has bad timing when it decides to crash.
