installed "Chrome"; where do I find it to put it "Launchpad?"

Using Firefox, I installed Chrome. Returned to desktop and want to put Chrome on Launchpad... HOW?

hit the windows key on the keyboard, in the dash type chrome and click to start chrome, chrome will now appear in the launchbar... simply right click and lock to launcher

By launchpad do you mean the vertical bar on the lefr? If so then that is called the 'Unity Launcher' and not 'Launchpad'

Primefalcon's method works for all applications too.
