Hi, is your camera recognized as an usb device? And are you able to open the usb device?
The problem is: putting the pictures on your harddisk, is "cannot lock" the exact error message?

YES its a USB device . Never had this problem before usually just downloads pictures right off . I have the CD that came with camera but have never had ti use it so far .
