Any hope of getting version 235 in hardy heron (8.04)?

I have a computer suffering from bug 199285 (xterm crashes when compiz is on). I'm now running version 235 on that computer, but I'm wondering if this version will make it into a hardy repository at some point?

You could always compile the new version in hardy or find a hardy repo with the version you desire on it. Frankly, I think compiz is not worth the hassle it causes for the sake of a "pretty desktop"

That's what I did.

It doesn't affect me now that I've figured out what the problem was. I thought it might be a good idea for other users, but I've no idea how much work is involved in putting a new version in the standard repository.
