xterm ctrl-click menus not displaying correctly

Asked by Casey

Using xterm in Gnome, Maverick, 64bit. The menus for xterm usually available by control-clicking in the window are not working properly. The menu displays only partially. I'm wondering if I should file a bug with xterm, though it could be something with X?

The same problem exists for me on two computers (one a self-built desktop, the other a Dell laptop), both running 10.10, 64bit, nvidia, visual effects set to "extra."

And if you disable visual effects?
Is 'Gnome compatibility' enabled in CCSM (compizconfig-settings-manager)?
Maybe also enable 'Workarounds' plugin.

Not sure if Nvidia just needs an additional option in xorg.conf.
