SiS drivers

Asked by Leon Luck

Is there a separate driver package for SiS Graphics card? If so, where can I find it as my system will not allow me to change my screen settings. Thank you.

I guess I should have provided some info about my system: Acer Aspire 3000 Series, AMD Sempron processor 3100+, 2Gb RAM, Ubuntu 10.04 LTS

The SiS drivers are part of a default install, you simply need an xorg.conf file in /etc/X11 to make it run as you wish (SiS chips are quite basic so need telling what to do).

Can you help with this problem?
