nvidia acceleration or nvidia + jupiter? any overheating issues caused by this? does the two over stress my laptop?

no i went back into ubuntu, also would using jupiter and nvidia make any performance boost at all? or is using nvidia only be about the same as both?

no i have a dual core intel cpu and nvidia is my gpu
nvidia specs:
Graphics Processor:Quadro NVS 150M
CUDA Cores:8

in other words i only have one gpu listed in my thermal monitoring program (GPU0)

what will this do?

Give you a later nvidia driver, may help. Its not the super bleeding edge one. Its the stable branch of the xorg guys.

i already have nvidia current and jupiter, i want to know if using both in max performance mode causes over stress in my laptop and if using both makes my laptop faster or if using just one of them is fine.

Try without jupiter, see how it goes. Then you will know if it is making a difference

WOW, ok so i used the driver you suggested and my cpu usage using nvidia alone was 2 to 3 % with chromium loaded and idleing, i used jupiter aswell after that and it even got to 0% usage a few times! but i have a few more questions, would it cause any hardware damage, and i think i had another question but i forgot what it was.

OH i remember my old question, whjy does my cpu suddenly spike in cpu usage at a regular interval then go back down immediatly after

ok i dont know if it is a regular interval but why does it randomly spike anyway?

What activities are you doing when it happens?
Is there a pattern at all?

i dont recognize any pattern and im only running chromium
